Stillfront produces Fan Immersion Games (FIG’s). They are “free to play”
social web browser games with micro transactions as a revenue model.
Stillfront is unique because of the high profile Intellectual Properties
(IPs) on which the games are based. So far, we have used IPs based on
block buster motion pictures (Fast and Furious, Terminator Salvation and
Wanted), but we are open to producing games based on any IP that has a
high public recognition level, as well as the potential to capture the
interest of our target player group.
Proven Business model
2009 was a great year for us. During the time we experienced a quadruple
digit percentage increase in all critical areas of our business. We can
now say with certainty that our business model has been proven to work.
Research has shown that one of the strongest Internet trends in the coming
years will be “get it for free and pay when you want in the way you choose”.
Most of all entertainment mediums are strongly affected by the internet
revolution; the music industry is on its knees. The movie industry is
impaired and the gaming industry is seeing revenues migrate from retail to
online business at a steady rate. The internet consumer expects everything
to be free and easily accessible. “Why should I pay for something when I
don’t know if I’ll like it before I try it?” “Why should I pay for anything
if I can get it for free?”
Solve problems
The big enigma for the entertainment industry is to adapt to this new reality.
We see the music industry try out business models like “Spotify” and the movie
industries try the equivalent “Voddler”. But the game industry has already
surpassed this problem. Free-to-play games with micro transactions are the
ultimate consumer product. Try it for free, and pay if you like it, or you
perform actions required of sponsors and they will pay for you!
Online games segment
This business model is flourishing in social games and Webb browser games
today, and will in time, be the leading business model in the games industry.
In short – we have mastered the business model of the future, no wonder 73%
of the capital invested in the gaming industry goes into our sector.
