The role of Senior Accountant is based at Nanobit, and the role will work directly with the Head of Finance of Nanobit and the European Finance Hub of Stillfront.
Duties will include:
Monthly and Annual close processes including; preparation of journal entries, monthly accruals, back-end calculations, account reconciliations, revenue reporting
Prepare and carry out day to day journal entries and supporting workbooks
Provide analytical support for functional expense reviews
Independent implementation of internal controls defined by the Group and internally
Timely assistance and guidance with requests related to all accounting functions
Independent preparation of input for payroll and cooperation with external accountants
Independent preparation of reports for external institutions – HNB, DZS, banks
Analysis of financial deviations in relation to the budget/plan
Provide support with audits, handle tax returns, budgets and forecasts, financial reporting
Prepare GAAP compliant transactions for all areas of responsibility (Croatian GAAP and IFRS)
Monthly and annual reporting to the Group
Tracking and following up on incoming invoices, tracking of payments from suppliers and communication with suppliers, if needed
What you bring to the role:
Minimum 3-4 years in Accounting, ideally with experience in Public Accounting, Big 4 preferred
Chartered Accountant, or Chartered accountant candidate
A high rate of interaction with internal customers and senior management requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working remotely and in office in a fast-paced, high volume, technical environment.
Ability to juggle multiple projects while working with deadlines
Proficiency with Excel required; experience with accounting software is an asset
Strong organizational skills with a great deal of attention to detail
Experience with ICFR a plus
Familiarity with local Tax requirements is a plus
