Owning the entire player journey, you’ll navigate the lifecycle from the first ad impression to the 50th digital generation. You will execute and optimize the full-funnel strategies that keep BitLife at the top of the charts while aggressively expanding the franchise into new territories.

YOUR MISSION

  • Finding the "Perfect Life" (Product Market Fit)

    • The Census Taker: Define our target audiences using data analytics, user research and community feedback, figure out why 40% of our players are obsessed with becoming professional exorcists.

    • User-Centric Architect: Implement strategies that put the player first, whether they’re trying to live to 120 or trying to get mauled by a hippo.

    • The Spy: Conduct deep-cover market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities before the "other guys" even wake up.

    • The Storyteller: Develop product positioning and brand narratives that turn a simple text update into a "must-play" digital tragedy.

    • The Quality Controller: Support product development through testing and validation, ensuring the "Crime" tab is as addictive as a real life felony (but with fewer legal fees).

  • Launching the Chaos (Go-To-Market Strategy)

    • The Grand Architect: Design comprehensive marketing strategies that blend product features with UA elements seamlessly.

    • The Puppet Master: Craft and execute GTM plans focused on aggressive organic growth through high-impact marketing activations.

    • The Treasurer: Establish marketing budgets and success metrics. You’re playing with "real" money now, don't gamble it all on a virtual horse race.

  • Spreading the Infection (Marketing Activations)

    • Growth Hacker: Drive user acquisition and retention through every channel imaginable. If it has a screen, BitLife should be on it.

    • The Hype Machine: Manage organic initiatives including live events, influencer partnerships, and referral systems that make players say, "You have to try this."

    • The Diplomat: Develop and execute collaboration strategies with influencers, major IPs, and brands. (Think: BitLife x [Redacted]?)

    • Voice of the Brand: Lead PR, social media, and "weird" marketing channels. If it’s innovative, it’s yours.

    • The General: Coordinate cross-functional strike teams across product, paid UA, data, and creative to ensure we’re all marching to the same beat.

  • Winning the Game (Product Performance)

    • Funnel Mechanic: Optimize the UA funnel. Work with ASO and Creative teams to ensure our App Store page is more tempting than an "Inheritance" button.

    • Storefront Manager: Manage promotional content and in-app events to keep the App Stores looking fresh and chaotic.

    • The Negotiator: Secure "Featured" slots and seasonal promotions. We want the prime real estate on the App Store front page.

    • Creative Director: You’ll harmonize creative assets from viral influencer memes to high-production traditional media ensuring the BitLife brand remains unmistakable, iconic, and globally consistent.

    • The Retention Specialist: Drive CRM strategy and lifecycle marketing. Your job is to keep players engagEded, whether they’re a billionaire or a penniless street performer.

    • The High-Stakes Analyst: Prove the payoff. You’ll measure the true impact of our marketing investments by presenting iron-clad data from Incrementality/Uplift Analysis and Brand Lift Studies to Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM). YOUR MISSION

Store In-App Events Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end execution of Store In-App Events across platforms (Apple App Store & Google Play)

  • Plan, create, and publish Store In-App Events aligned with product updates, live-ops beats, and promotions

  • Partner with Product, Live Ops, and Creative teams to define messaging, timing, and visual requirements

  • Ensure Store In-App Events reflect product priorities, player motivations, and seasonal beats

  • Track performance and extract learnings to improve visibility, engagement, and conversion continuously

GTM & Launch Support

  • Support GTM execution for features, live-ops events, and content updates

  • Prepare briefs, timelines, checklists, and internal documentation for launches

  • Ensure messaging is consistently applied across store, UA, and community touchpoints

  • Coordinate inputs and approvals across cross-functional teams

  • Support launch retrospectives and documentation of best practices

Messaging & Brand Consistency Support

  • Apply approved messaging frameworks, narratives, and brand guidelines across executions

YOUR BACKSTORY

Must-Have

  • 1–2 years of experience in Product Marketing, Marketing, Publishing, or a related role (gaming preferred)

Your Mission

  • Design and evolve our franchise platform experience across web and cross-device environments, ensuring usability, clarity, and consistency.

  • Translate product requirements and business needs into user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.

  • Improve key platform flows such as onboarding, authentication, account systems, monetization touchpoints, social/community features, and live operations interfaces.

  • Analyze user behavior, feedback, and platform data to identify friction points and propose measurable UX improvements.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, marketing, and game teams to ensure alignment between franchise strategy and platform experience.

  • Develop and maintain a scalable design system and UX guidelines to ensure consistency across all franchise touchpoints.

Your Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 4+ years in a UI/UX design role, ideally working on web platforms, SaaS products, live-service products, or complex digital ecosystems.

  • UX Expertise: Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.

  • Portfolio: Demonstrated experience designing structured, scalable systems - not just visual interfaces- including complex flows and cross-platform experiences.

  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Figma and experienced in working with developers on web-based products (familiarity with frontend frameworks and responsive design principles is a plus).

  • Systems Thinking: Ability to design within - and improve - design systems and modular component libraries.

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer specialized in MLOps to join our central AI/ML Hub and collaborate closely with game studios and other central hubs (Data, Marketing, Ads) in order to operationalize and scale machine learning solutions across Stillfront.

We are at a pivotal stage in scaling AI and ML across Stillfront, with a clear ambition to accelerate and consolidate our efforts in order to establish AI and ML as a fundamental part of our DNA. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that our ML solutions are reliable, maintainable, and scalable in production.

As our MLOps Engineer, you will be leading building ML pipelines, infrastructure, and development workflows, while also contributing to modeling work when needed.
You will play a key role in driving the creation of the technical pillars that allow the team to ship, iterate, and scale ML effectively across the Stillfront portfolio.


YOUR MISSION

  • Design, build, and maintain ML pipelines covering training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.

  • Operationalize ML models developed in collaboration with ML, data and backend engineers, and ensure their reliability in production.

  • Support experimentation by making ML systems easier to deploy, monitor, and iterate on.

  • Build up the developer experience for ML engineers (environment setup, dependency management, automation, CI/CD). Focused on reusability, standardization and scalable development workflows.

Our servers are running on a distributed architecture in the Google Cloud. Your work will align with best practices in stability, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with game designers, producers, and other stakeholders to implement innovative features that enhance the player experience. For this role, you must be fluent in technical and business English; German language skills are a plus.

YOUR MISSION

  • You will lead and mainly work on the Java Backend of our existing and upcoming games. However, you need to be comfortable with working in other languages - like PHP. And have an understanding of how Javascript/Typescript works.

Strategy and Planning

In the backend, our games share a self-built Java game engine, together with a containerized API written in PHP that we constantly extend and improve. Servers run on a distributed architecture in the Google Cloud and use MySQL for data storage.

In your daily work you can expect a professional environment utilizing a blend of proven and exciting technologies like Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, Ansible (AWX), Jenkins, Docker, Datadog, argoCD, Grafana, Sentry, MySQL, Nginx, Github & Github Actions, GCP to name a few.

The frontend engine currently uses a modern HTML5 / WebGL / TypeScript / Vue.js stack, deployed to different kinds of platforms like desktop browser, Steam, iOS and Android. Existing and future games will transition to a Unity-based frontend. We launched our first game already and have more exciting upcoming releases planned for this year and beyond.

YOUR MISSION

  • Be part of an experienced and awesome DevOps team.

  • Maintain our high availability production systems. Working on stability and scalability. On-call incidents are the exception, not the rule.

  • Analyze & optimize our high performance / high traffic systems on OS & application level.

  • Spear-head tooling efforts by prototyping, setting up, establishing and fine-tuning new tools to improve performance and our dev life.

  • Support efforts to move from legacy-systems (GCE) to modern, best-practice deployments (K8S, IaC, CaC) for a variety of services.

  • Excellent skills in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and Configuration-as-Code (Ansible).

  • Excellent skills in Database Management (MySQL and PostgreSQL), Network Architecture (intra- and inter-service) and Systems Administration (Debian/Linux).

  • Experience with high load / high availability systems and load optimizations.

  • Experience working with Hyperscalers (preferrably Google Cloud Platform).

  • Knowledge of state of the art build systems, tech stacks and tool chains. Passion to extend your knowledge and try out new technologies.

In the backend, our games share a self-built Java game engine, together with a containerized API written in PHP that we constantly extend and improve. Servers run on a distributed architecture in the Google Cloud and use MySQL for data storage.

You will play a crucial role in managing live operations and work closely with the Product, Game Design, Data Analytics, and Controlling teams to optimise our monetization strategies and drive growth. Goodgame Studios are building a new cross-platform 4X strategy game on top of a proven large-scale foundation (ROFB engine with Unity client + Java backend). To ensure long-term success, we are looking for a Senior Analyst In-game Economy who will act as the data authority for all progression, monetization, and retention systems.

This role is distinct from Game Balancing: while Balancers design and configure systems, the Analyst provides the data backbone. You will analyze player economies, validate balancing assumptions, forecast KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to Game Design, Monetization, and Product. Your mission is to ensure every feature - from FTUE to endgame - is supported by solid evidence and quantified outcomes.

YOUR MISSION

  • Build and maintain SQL queries and database models (SQL/Snowflake) to extract, validate, and interpret in-game economy data.
  • Conduct deep research into existing balancing systems: analytically break down, document, and understand how every stat, effect, and formula functions.
  • Deliver deep-dive analyses on progression speed, resource flows, sinks/faucets, combat performance, and monetization funnels.
  • Build and run simulation models to project the impact of system changes; provide estimates and scenario outcomes for proposed designs and balancing updates.
  • Forecast KPIs (e.g., retention, ARPU, ARPPU, LTV) and model long-term player lifecycle scenarios.
