Your Mission:

We are hiring an experienced QA Specialist (Full-time) to ensure the quality of our live strategy games through comprehensive testing across mobile and web platforms.

• Design test plans from provided game design documents and in-game prototyping.

• Update and execute test plans alongside new feature releases.

• Perform smoke tests, sanity checks, and full system regression testing.

• Identify, document, and report defects using standardized bug tracking software (Jira).

• Manage tickets and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure release deadlines are met.

• Deliver structured QA feedback to game teams to optimize player experience - covering Usability, Compatibility, and Accessibility testing.

• Apply black-box testing alongside developer tools to monitor and improve overall app performance.

• Execute multi-platform testing across Android, iOS, and web, including UI testing and Exploratory testing.

Who you'll work with:

• QA Lead & Release Manager - Your direct line manager. Together, you will align on high-level QA strategies

• On the WW3 team you’ll join a dedicated team of 2 QA Specialists. You will collaborate on test plans, share knowledge, and perform peer reviews to maintain a unified testing standard.

• Production & Design: You will work closely with the Producers and Game Designers of WW3. You’ll be involved early in the feature-refinement stage to provide feedback on "testability" and user experience.

• External QA Partners: You will help coordinate with our external testing teams.

• Cross-functional Stakeholders: As a champion for quality, you will interact with virtually every discipline.

Your Backstory

• Experience as a Game Designer, Level Designer or UX Designer with live-service games - you've designed features that went live, learned from their performance, and iterated based on real player behavior.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day IT operations at our studio Twin Harbour office in Hamburg Based on your previous experience, you will answer incoming requests, set priorities and take initiative to automate or improve processes.

• Network Administration - manage relationships with local vendors, perform network updates, troubleshoot, and resolve local network issues

As a Senior Backend Engineer - Node.js/Typescript, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing features for our game platform, focusing on applications used by our game teams as a service that are interfacing with other internal and external services. In the beginning, you will work on extracting loosely coupled microservices out of our monolithic PHP application. The services will be running on a distributed architecture in the Google Cloud. Your work will align with best practices in stability, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with game designers, producers, and other stakeholders to create innovative services that enhance the player experience and enable internal stakeholders to work more efficiently.

YOUR TASKS

• You will mainly work on extracting loosely coupled microservices written in Node.js/TypeScript out of our PHP monolith. However, you need to be comfortable with working in other languages like PHP as well.

• Take ownership for maintaining and extending some of the central shared services that are used by game teams and other stakeholders like game design and monetization.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve our software with high-quality, maintainable code.

• Define SLOs, add metrics/tracing/logging, participate in on-call/incident reviews, and continuously harden reliability & performance for live operations.

We're looking for a passionate and data-driven User Acquisition Manager to join our fast-growing mobile gaming company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing marketing campaigns for our flagship titles and new games to drive profitable user growth for our portfolio of games. You will work closely with our UA, Creative, and Product teams to acquire high-quality users and achieve our ambitious business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize user acquisition campaigns across multiple ad networks and platforms, focusing on profitability (ROAS) and key KPIs like CPI and CTR.

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop, test, and refine ad creatives, providing data-driven feedback and clear briefs to maximize engagement and conversions.

• Plan and execute soft launch and global launch campaigns for new games.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including ad platforms, networks, and agencies, to diversify UA efforts.

• Monitor game performance metrics, including retention and LTV, to ensure acquisition of high-quality, engaged players.

• Ensure data accuracy via MMPs, troubleshoot attribution issues, and make budget and optimization decisions based on reliable data.

• Prepare regular performance reports and provide actionable insights to UA and Product teams, aligning the organization on growth strategy.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, growth opportunities, and best practices in mobile gaming and advertising.

• Support with App store optimization and testing.

• Assist with budget management, ensuring campaigns are efficient and within allocated budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in marketing operations, creative production, or digital campaigns.

• 3+ years of experience in marketing, user acquisition, or related fields.

• Experience in managing Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok, SDK video networks (Applovin, Unity, Ironsource) and CPE partners in MENA / GCC markets, US and internationally.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; skilled in validating tracking links, troubleshooting campaigns, and verifying attribution paths.

As Head of Game Design at Twin Harbour Interactive, you're the person the franchise's design quality runs through. You set the bar across the full portfolio, build the systems that hold it, and develop the designers who deliver it. The design decisions that shape this franchise over the next five years will come from the team you develop and the standard you set.

You'll lead a team of Game Design Leads across four live titles and make sure the discipline grows alongside the franchise. You report directly to the Executive Director of Production.

YOUR MISSION

• Lead the Game Design Department — Your Game Design Leads are your direct reports, and your impact runs through them. Hire and develop the people who set the direction, own the headcount plan and budget, and anticipate what the department needs next: skills, tooling, and where the gaps are.

• Shape the Design Vision — Set the long-term direction for game design at Twin Harbour. The philosophy you develop should be clear to the team, durable across the full portfolio, and concrete enough to influence real decisions. That includes understanding how design choices affect the game's ability to attract new players and keep long-term ones.

• Work Across the Studio — Partner with Heads of Product, Producers, and other department heads so design can actually deliver what each production needs. Sort out friction early, before it becomes someone else's problem.

• Own the Craft Standard — Define and enforce the design quality bar across all productions. Set the frameworks and review processes that give the franchise a coherent design identity.

• Build an Inspiring Culture of Trust — Create the conditions where designers feel safe raising problems, pushing back, and asking for help. Look at who gets heard, who gets developed, and who gets the stretch assignments.

• Make Feedback Real — Keep it timely and grounded in the work, not a box-ticking exercise. Stay close enough to both the team and the game to catch signals early, and use data and instinct together to act before they become bigger problems.

• Lead with Clarity — Clarity is how trust gets built and ownership becomes real. Set the tone across the department, make sure the franchise's direction is understood by the people executing it, and surface problems early.

• Drive AI Adoption — Actively find where AI tools can improve design workflows, prototyping, and iteration speed. Model the behavior. Bring the team with you.

YOUR BACKSTORY

• Deep, firsthand knowledge of strategy games, grand strategy, 4X, or adjacent, on PC or mobile, as a player and as a designer. You understand what keeps long-term strategy players engaged and coming back.

• 7+ years in game design, with several of those leading designers or teams as a Lead Game Designer, Design Director, or Head of Game Design. If you've had outsized impact in a slightly shorter time, we'd still like to hear from you.

• A track record of building and keeping strong design teams, including the harder conversations around performance, career redirection, and organizational change.

• You can set a quality bar, run reviews, and hold it across multiple concurrent productions, not just produce good work yourself.

• Hands-on experience with budgeting, headcount planning, and resource forecasting at a department level.

• Clear, trusted communicator with genuine AI affinity. Peers, reports, and leadership all get a straight answer from you. You're already using AI tools in your design practice and thinking about where they go next.

NICE TO HAVE

• You've taken at least one F2P or long-running live title through multiple live-ops cycles and can point to clear impact on retention, revenue, and key metrics like D1/D7/D30 and LTV.

• Deep experience in systems design and balancing, designing for complexity, longevity, and player mastery in live games.

• Fluent in event-driven live-ops, including seasonal cadences, segmentation, and A/B testing.

• Own the Live Ops Calendar: Execute a 4-month seasonal structure, coordinating mid-season drops, events, and sales across design, art, engineering, and marketing teams.

Who you'll work with

This role forms part of the design team and reports to the Lead Game Designer on a product level and to the Head of LiveOps organizationally. Day-to-day you’ll collaborate most closely with:

• Lead Game Designer - your direct line manager on the product; you’ll align closely on live ops strategy, monetization performance, and economy risks day-to-day

• Game Design - collaborating on and co-owning design work for features and events with a strong monetization angle; this is a hands-on design role, not just a review function

• Analysts / Data team - working from shared dashboards, validating hypotheses, and turning data into monetization decisions

• Engineers & QA - coordinating live ops delivery and ensuring offer and event logic is implemented correctly

Who we are

Sandbox Interactive is the ambitious game development studio behind the award-winning game Albion Online. Your Game

As a Level Designer you will create engaging, immersive, and well-balanced game environments that enhance player experience and support the core gameplay of our long-standing MMORPG. You will focus on designing and building compelling levels, ensuring seamless integration with game systems and art direction and maintaining a consistent balance between aesthetics, gameplay flow, and technical constraints.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Take ownership of assigned levels or content areas, from first layout to final polish

• Build levels, dungeons, and PvE/PvP areas that offer compelling gameplay and exploration

• Translate gameplay ideas and design briefs into playable, optimized and aesthetically appealing levels using Unity and internal tools

• Populate levels with encounters, landmarks, and visual storytelling elements

• Work closely with Game Designers, Artists, and Engineers to ensure levels enhance gameplay clarity and performance

• Identify and proactively address gameplay or readability issues within owned content

• Conduct playtests, gather feedback, and refine levels for balance and flow

• Maintain consistency in difficulty, readability, and player experience

Your Talent

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in level design for games, ideally with a focus on online multiplayer titles

• Strong sense for space and layouts and an eye for aesthetically attractive designs and environment

• Solid understanding of engaging combat, pacing, and player guidance

• Experience working with Unity or other 3D game engines

• Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines

• Passion for MMOs, worldbuilding, and player-driven gameplay

About the role

We're hiring a User Acquisition Manager to join us in launching a new short drama product and work on existing or other new product launches. From day one you'll work closely with the Marketing Team Lead to plan and execute UA — campaign setup, web-to-app funnel build, attribution stitching, the iteration loop with content and product, and the lifecycle handoff. You'll take ownership of specific channels, tests and reporting workstreams as you grow into the role, with direct collaboration across the product, content and creative teams.

The short drama category is new, the audience behavior is different from gaming, and the playbook is being written in real time. We're looking for someone who's energised by that.

What you'll do

• Plan and run paid campaigns across the channels and workstreams assigned by the Marketing Team Lead — paid social, video, search, web and programmatic.

• Run campaigns on Meta, TikTok, Google (App + Web), AppLovin and other relevant DSPs and ad networks. Manage daily spend, bids, geo and audience splits.

• Build and manage web funnels, web-to-app funnels, and the end-to-end attribution chain — landing pages, AppsFlyer (web + app), UTM hygiene, deep linking, and the handoff between web and mobile measurement.

• Partner with the ASO lead on store optimisation, including Custom Store Listings — own the alignment between each UA campaign and the store experience it points to.

• Build the testing engine — set up structured A/B tests on creatives, audiences, bidding strategies and landing surfaces; document learnings and turn winners into scale.

• Use AI tools and automation aggressively — for creative production, audience research, bid management, reporting, anything you can offload from manual work. We expect this role to actively push the frontier here, not wait for permission.

• Work hand-in-hand with the creative and content teams to turn new episodes (produced via AI tools and otherwise) into UA creative variants — hooks, openers, CTAs, geo cuts. Build a continuous pipeline rather than one-off briefs. You'll be the person who tells creative what's working and what needs to change.

• Support lifecycle marketing. Feed UA learnings into the CRM, push and email workstreams so paid acquisition and lifecycle activation reinforce each other.

• Measure what matters. Build cohort LTV views, blended ROAS dashboards and channel-level P&L. Use AppsFlyer / our MMP and BI tools to make decisions.

• Forecast and report monthly spend, installs, payer/subscriber metrics and contribution margin. Surface risks and opportunities early.

• Stay close to the product. Feed UA learnings back into the product team — onboarding flows, paywall positioning, content selection — and pull product insights into UA targeting.

• Track the category. Spot emerging players, formats, creative trends and pricing models before they become obvious.

What you'll bring

• 2–4 years of hands-on UA or performance marketing experience in mobile apps, web-to-app, or web subscription products. Experience with subscription / IAP-monetised products is a plus.

• Demonstrated impact on at least one major channel (Meta, TikTok, Google or AppLovin) — ideally several. You can talk through specific campaigns you've scaled and why they worked.

• A burning interest in AI and automation. You actively explore new AI tools, build small workflows to remove repetitive work, and think automation-first when approaching any task.

• Strong analytical foundation. Comfortable with cohort analysis, LTV modelling, ROAS targets and spreadsheet wrangling.

• Creative literacy. You can spot a strong hook, write a brief, and have an opinion on what's working. You don't need to edit videos, but you need to know what makes one stop the scroll.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Unity Developer (all genders) to join our team working on a successful Free-to Play (F2P) mobile strategy game.
You will be part of our interdisciplinary team developing, building and running Warhammer 40,000: Supremacy, an ambitious online grand strategy game set in the iconic Warhammer 40k universe. You can expect a professional and international working environment covering a wide scope of technologies and a deep focus on delivering a visually pleasing and technically excellent player experience.

Our frontend is built on a modern Unity-based stack, targeting Steam, iOS and Android. It takes advantage of the DOTS/ECS Stack, utilizing the Burst compiler. You will encounter both: traditional component based modules and ECS-based solutions, both working in tandem.

The Unity client is connected to a dedicated Gameserver written in Java and a PHP-based API responsible for User-Management and Meta progression.

YOUR MISSION

• Be part of an experienced and passionate Unity engineering team building a flagship title in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

• Own and drive topics related to help our Technical Artists, like writing Shaders, adjusting Rendering options or improving and iterating over existing work in this area.

• Develop, maintain and optimize custom HLSL/ShaderLab shaders (or utilizing ShaderGraph) and work closely with artists to realize the visual direction of the game.

• Analyze and optimize GPU and CPU performance on both high-end and mobile targets, including draw call optimization, batching strategies, LOD systems and profiling.

• Spearhead tooling efforts by prototyping and establishing Unity Editor extensions, asset pipeline tools and workflow improvements to elevate the entire team's productivity.

• Collaborate closely with the art, game design and backend teams as well as our sister studios in Stillfront to ensure seamless integration of assets and features.

• Broaden your knowledge and deepen your skills through conferences and training, and share your learnings with the team.

YOUR PROFILE

• Excellent skills in Unity Engine and C# development in a production game context utilizing the ECS Stack.

• Excellent skills in shader and rendering development - HLSL, ShaderLab, Shader Graph and a solid understanding of the underlying GPU pipeline.

• Strong understanding of real-time rendering concepts: PBR materials, lighting models, shadow systems, post-processing and VFX Graph.

• Experience with performance profiling and optimization on both PC and mobile platforms (Unity Profiler, RenderDoc, Xcode Instruments, etc.).

• Experience shipping and running at least one commercial Unity title on two or more platforms (PC, iOS, Android, console).

• Ability to articulate and document technical designs clearly and analytically, bridging the gap between engineering and art.

• Ability to communicate effectively and objectively in English.

Nice-to have skills to impress us

• Passion for the Warhammer 40,000 universe and turn-based or online strategy games.

• Knowledge of multiplayer/online game development practices.

• Experience with Unity Addressables, asset bundle pipelines and live-ops content delivery.

The LiveOps Manager is a critical role responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing all in-game events, promotions, and content updates designed to drive engagement, retention, and monetization for our global player base.

You will form part of the Game Design team, owning and coordinating the live game experience, ensuring a continuous stream of exciting, profitable, and high-quality content.

YOUR MISSION

Strategy and Planning

Develop and own the rolling LiveOps calendar, including daily, weekly, and monthly events, sales, and content releases, aligning with long-term business goals and product strategy.

Develop and Execute LiveOps Strategy: design, plan, and execute a comprehensive LiveOps roadmap (quarterly, monthly, weekly) that aligns with the game's long-term vision and business objectives.

Collaborate closely with Development, Art, Game Design, Analytics, Marketing, and Community teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful live service roadmap.

Forecast the performance of live events and promotions, setting clear, measurable goals for key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Daily Active Users (DAU), retention rates, conversion, and Average Revenue Per Daily Active User (ARPDAU).

Create and maintain clear and optimized documentation about all LiveOps initiatives, procedures, and strategies.

Execution and Management

Oversee the end-to-end execution of all LiveOps initiatives, including content preparation, configuration, QA, and deployment, using internal tools and external platforms.

Proactively Monitor the live service and event performance in real-time, rapidly identifying and reacting to issues, anomalies, or opportunities to optimize outcomes.

Coordinate asset delivery and messaging with creative and marketing teams to ensure timely and compelling communication of LiveOps to players.

Own and coordinate push notifications in order to keep players informed of new events and initiatives.

Own dedicated LiveOps features which contribute towards player retention and engagement, and payer conversion.

Work directly within the Game Design team to deliver unique LiveOps events and contribute towards the continued success of the game.

Analysis and Optimization

Conduct deep analysis on the performance of all executed events and sales, as well as ongoing features, generating actionable insights and post-mortem reports.

Utilize A/B testing methodologies to optimize event mechanics, monetization and content presentation.

Proactively identify opportunities for new features, content, or improvements based on data analysis, player feedback, and competitive intelligence.

Work with the Analytics team to identify data requirements and assist the product team in optimizing their efforts and operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a point of contact for all LiveOps execution questions and dependencies in the product team.

Maintain strong communication with the Customer Support team to address high-priority player issues related to live events quickly and effectively.

Maintain strong communication with the Community Management team to keep players up to date on all events and initiatives taking place in the game.

YOUR PROFILE

Essential Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Live Operations, Product Management, or Growth Marketing within the Free-to-Play mobile gaming industry.

• Proven track record managing complex, high-velocity LiveOps calendars for an F2P title, preferably a strategy or mid-core game.

• Proficiency in game data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Amplitude, etc.) and a strong ability to translate raw data into strategic recommendations.

• Deep understanding of F2P monetization models, virtual economies, and player segmentation principles.

Key Skills and Attributes

• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Your Game

We are looking for an experienced Senior Game Producer to take charge of delivering feature implementations, primarily overseeing the Game Design and Engineering teams. This role is crucial in ensuring that new features are developed efficiently, from concept to full implementation, while maintaining quality and alignment with overall project goals.

• Own the production process for feature development, ensuring smooth implementation from pre-production to post-launch

• Work closely with Game Designers and Engineers, ensuring that features are scoped realistically, developed efficiently, and meet quality expectations

• Define milestones, schedules, and dependencies to ensure timely feature delivery

• Act as the central point of coordination, ensuring alignment between design and coding teams, as well as collaboration with other departments when needed

• Identify and mitigate risks, proactively removing roadblocks to keep development on track

• Ensure that feature development follows an iterative approach, with playtesting, feedback loops, and adjustments as needed

• Lead milestone reviews and quality checks, ensuring the feature is polished and meets design and technical standards

As a member of the Web Team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery and operation of Albion Online. While our team does not develop the game itself, we manage all the essential services that ensure a seamless experience for players. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing features for our game platform, focusing on our self-build Java game engine that is interfacing with other services written in Java and PHP, which we constantly extend and improve. Our servers are running on a distributed architecture in the Google Cloud. Your work will align with best practices in stability, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with game designers, producers, and other stakeholders to implement innovative features that enhance the player experience. For this role, you must be fluent in technical and business English; German language skills are a plus.

YOUR MISSION

• You will lead and mainly work on the Java Backend of our existing and upcoming games. However, you need to be comfortable with working in other languages - like PHP. And have an understanding of how Javascript/Typescript works.
